"Upon arrival, we had to go through three rooms before finding one that fit our needs. The first was right next to the elevator shaft (very noisy), the second had only a twin bed (for two people), and the third was acceptable but woodwork needed paint and the TV didn't work. Parking and meal services were expensive. This is a $125/night city hotel and they need to step up in accomodations and service to justify the prices they charge."

"This hotel may not be for everyone but it is perfect for me. It is old, it is still somewhat funky, but that's what I like. Not glitzy. The staff, with the exception of some rather indifferent and brusk waiters in the lounge on the first floor around the corner from reception, are charming, gracious, friendly, especially if one is cordial and respectful of them. The location is great. I used to live on the Hill in Boston so I know the territory. At this point, I can't imagine staying anywhere else when visiting Boston, except with old personal friends, of course. The Boston Park Plaza is my hotel friend."
