"Didn't appreciate being woken up at 4:30 a.m. by garbage trucks -- which apparently is a well-known problem yet guests are still put in these noisy rooms. Was moved to a quieter room on request, but water pressure was not good in second room."

"The Charlesmark is well located in the Boston Back Bay district. Shopping, great dining, tourist attractions and various forms of public transportation are within easy access. Parking is a problem in Boston and the Charlesmark has none of its own. The hotel management was most helpful in finding parking relatively close but it should be noted that overnight parking fees are rather high and there is no arrangement for discount for Charlesmark patrons. The hotel itself was very clean and tidy. Complimentary local phone service and internet access came in handy. Rooms are small but efficiently laid out. Bathrooms were nice. Elevator was slow. Cost was reasonable for what others charge in the area. I would stay there again."
