"My only request was for an upper floor and I was given a room on the top floor and I have to say the view was spectacular as I could see the ocean to my left and mountains out in the forground amongst many very wonderful old buildings and the cities size came into perspective. It was worth the cost of the room to not feel blocked in on a ground level room. I would like to have brought a camera. Everything was made easy and I paid and tipped well for this. It was nice to see how the other halve lived and I could afford just one day of this great experience."

"The staff had good patron memory. I had mentioned to one of the registration staff after being in my room for several hours, that I wondered if there were any "rooms with a view". She said to check back the next day to see if any had opened up, since they were all booked that night. The next day, I went to the desk for something else, and the same person was still there and remembered my request without my having brought it up. They found me a room, put it on hold, and moved all of my things to the new room when it was ready, which did, indeed, have a very nice view. I found everyone at the hotel extremely helpful, pleasant, and very willing to please."
